Most of apartments in Ukraine have sheltered balconies but we decided not to do that. This allows natural daylight enter each room in the apartment. It also became an excellent place to relax with a cup of tea in the evening and cup of coffee in the morning.
The apartment is ideal for longer stays for couples and families because there is a beautiful park and botanical garden near the house where you can relax away from the busy city of Kharkov.

Kharkov – City of excitement!
Kharkov is the first capital of Ukraine. There are many places which you can visit during your stay in Kharkov. A well-known visitor attraction in Kharkov is the Freedom Square (Ploshcha Svobody) which is currently the second largest city square in Europe and is the 7th largest square in the world! A Monumental Statue of Lenin was erected in the square in 1964.
You can go for an enjoyable walk in famous Shevchenko’s Park which is next to the Freedom Square. There you will find fountains, countless benches, cafes, bars and of course the Kharkiv Zoo. You can also see a monumental statue of Shevchenko there.
Opposite of the Opera House in the Kharkov’s City Centre is the Zerkalnaya Struya (Mirror Stream). This wonderful fountain with many of benches is an ideal recreation zone.
Kharkov’s Dolphinarium “Nemo” provides education and family entertainment to the visitors. It is an amazing place, where you are guaranteed to meet some of the most beautiful animals that inhabit many oceans and have lots of fun with them.
Kharkov Art Museum is one of the oldest museums of Kharkov and is one of the most invaluable in Ukraine. The museum collection has more than 20000 works which are unique masterpieces of Ukrainian and world painting, sculpture, graphics, arts and crafts. The Historical museum was founded in 1920. The Modern Kharkov Historical Museum has 4 departments: primitive society, feudalism, capitalism and soviet period.
Kharkov Circus is still a place filled with fun. Here you will find optimism, funny jokes, dizzy acrobatic feats and of course the wildest animals. This circus is one of the oldest in Ukraine.
After a busy day you will have an opportunity to relax or have fun in numerous cafes, clubs and restaurants many of them are located on Sumskaya Street. They are in the short distance from the apartment you will stay in.
